Our Story
LabCrate Solutions was born in the renowned HySPRINT Labs at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin. As a laboratory engineer deeply embedded in the thin-film and perovskite research community, I continuously saw scientists struggling with disorganized substrate storage.
What began as a practical, in-house solution quickly became essential, as scientists across our facility started regularly requesting more boxes. The demand grew rapidly, and it became clear that substrate storage was not just our problem—it was widespread across research institutions. That realization marked the beginning of LabCrate Solutions: dedicated to helping labs worldwide achieve the order they deserve.
Our Expertise
LabCrate Solutions is backed by years of direct laboratory experience. With a degree in Renewable Energies from HTW Berlin and over four years of hands-on experience as a laboratory engineer at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, I have gained a profound understanding of laboratory workflows, scientist needs, and the crucial role efficient infrastructure plays in successful research.
Having worked extensively with gloveboxes, spin coaters, evaporators, and thin-film technologies, our solutions are shaped by practical insights and ongoing feedback from active researchers. This ensures our LabCrates remain not only highly effective but continuously evolving with the changing needs of modern labs.
