Silicagel Sachets (1g)

for LabCrate Systems

  • Packaging units: 200 sachets per unit.
  • Size: 20x40mm.
  • Weight/Content: 1g SiO₂ per sachet. (Sized for LabCrate Systems)
  • Purpose: Adsorb water (desiccant sachet)
  • Usage: Use in LabCrate products for atmosphere control, replace after 1 month or ~20 times air exposure of storage box. If possible, installation within inert atmosphere is preferable.
  • Capacity: adsorbs approximately 25% of its own weight in water — for example, 0,25 g of water corresponds to drying about 22 liters of air at 25 °C and 50 % relative humidity. The 1g sachet could adsorb ~120 times the water content that is present at 50% RH and 25°C within a 180ml size LabCrate.
  • Storage instructions: Store in a dry, sealed container, glovebox or packaging until use (to avoid pre-adsorption of moisture). Avoid direct exposure to high humidity / open air for extended times before use. Shelf life for similar sachets is ~2 years if stored dry and unopened.
  • Reaction speed: Typical silica gel sachets absorb quickly (minutes for initial uptake in a sealed enclosure) though full equilibrium may take hours depending on air volume, RH change, mixing.

Silicagel Sachets (2g)

for LabVault Systems

  • Packaging units: 100 sachets per unit.
  • Size: 35x40mm.
  • Weight/Content: 2g SiO₂ per sachet. (Sized for LabVault Systems)
  • Purpose: Adsorb water (desiccant sachet)
  • Usage: Use in LabVault products for atmosphere control, replace after 1 month or ~20 times air exposure of storage box. If possible, installation within inert atmosphere is preferable.
  • Capacity: adsorbs approximately 25% of its own weight in water — for example, 0,5 g of water corresponds to drying about 44 liters of air at 25 °C and 50 % relative humidity. The 2g sachet could adsorb ~250 times the water content that is present at 50% RH and 25°C within a 150ml size LabVault.

Deoxidizers

for LabVault and LabCrate Systems

  • Packaging units: 50 individually vacuum packaged sachets per unit.
  • Size: 40x55mm, perfectly sized for LabVault and LabCrate Systems alike.
  • Weight/Content: 4g of iron (Fe) powder and salt (NaCl) mix.
  • Purpose: Absorb oxygen through oxidation of Fe.
  • Usage: Use in LabCrate or LabVault products for atmosphere control, replace after 1 month or ~5 times air exposure of storage box. If possible, installation within inert atmosphere is preferable.
  • Capacity: absorbs up to 500 cm³ of oxygen. For example, this would be ~14 times the volume of a 180ml LabCrate box if it was filled with 21% oxygen content air.
  • Storage instructions: Store in a dry, sealed container, glovebox or packaging until use (to avoid pre-adsorption of oxygen). Avoid direct exposure to high open air for extended times before use. Shelf life for similar sachets is ~2 years if stored dry and unopened.
  • Reaction speed: Requires small amount of water vapour to be active. Typical behaviour after full air exposure: O₂ concentration drops from 21 % → < 1 % within 2–4 hours. After 12-24 hours, O₂ content drops below 0.01 % (100 ppm)
